He was just a store clerk. Nothing in the store even belonged to him. I can understand going outside with the other employee the first time; they had no idea what was going to happen. But he was the definition of a fool to go out the second time and chase a car. He got beat down and he's still just a store clerk... that is if his injuries allow him to return to work.
