when u sign up in the military no matter wat branch u in thats ur first duty. thats y all of us go thru boot camp... Im in the Navy its sad that this happened as a result of him not wanting to go overseas an i pray for all the familiees that were lost, but when u sign ur contract (in the fine print) thats what ur job is no matter what.

My brother was in Fort Hood based Military, when this all had happend.Im so glad nothing happend to him.But i felt really upset and sad about the one's who got killed.If felt like they was one of my own family or brothers and sisters that died......R.I.P To all of them, pray for there family.....his is gonna kinda be like Septemebr 11th you guys.Be glad that you are still alive and you wake up everyday to breathe the air and move your body.Be happy that it wasnt your life that was takend away.They all had silencets today for those who lost there lifes.....I am joining the military and being sent to Texas for basic training myself.Just pray for the family and be respectful to those who's life was lost......Peace

Back in 2003, or 2004 there was a similar incident: a black dude who was a *muslim* or something killed a whole bunch of his U.S. military comrades while they were over in the middle east, or something. I think this particular dude had used a bomb as his weapon of choice. And now it's 2009, and you got this new military serial killer(of his kind), and it just so happens that he has a *arabic* name, and he looks *arab* which tells me that this dude may have killed those 13 soldiers because he was a traitor,or whatever you want to call it.

They should be forced to go. They knew what they signed up for so therefore they are not forced to go.But I do think that the time that they spend over there and the amount of times they go should be limited because it is a stressful environment to put a person through.

first off if u dont want to go to war u have no business in the service because its always a possiblily of that when u r enrolled. maybe they need to start thinkin about letting soldiers carry handguns while on base because things like this can happen. u should never let your gaurd down wether u r home or away

im in the military and soldiers don't go to war against their will.. before war even comes about you sign a contract and is obligated to fullfill your term whether you get sent overseas or not.. people know what they are getting themselves into before they join.. its all volunteer unless you get drafted.

There's really no such thing as goin to war against your will. You sign up, THATS ON YOU. Sometimes, if your in trouble with the law, they give you an option: join the armed forces, or go to jail. My cousin joined the Army and was in Iraq, but that was HIS choice, he chose to go.

&& this s***t sucks. Plain & simple. People are having a hard enough time overseas and then they find out this s***t is happening here, at home. Also, Allah is the muslim God, but Allah and muslims don't preach for killings.

I really feel for the family of these people though, this s***t is horrible. I lost all of the family I had so i can get an idea of how they feel, but I hope the government really takes care of these people and give them some compensation. That would definately NOT make things 'okay' or bring back the lives lost but they deserve to get all they can gain out of this, it's the least that our country can do for them

I see it like this. When you enlist in the military you vow to answer to your nation's call and defend her when deemed necessary. If someone feels that war isn't for them they shouldn't be enlisting in the military because whenever there is crisis, disaster, war whatever..They will most likely have to respond to something and put their life on the line. No matter what branch someone is in they all come together to serve one purpose and that's to defend freedom...which is hanging on by a thread nowadays.
